Nactarome, European leading player in the production of colours, flavours and natural ingredients for the Food & Beverage sector has acquired FIAS – Fabbrica Italiana Aromi Speciali

Nactarome, Ambienta portfolio company, is a leading European platform in the natural ingredients with its 10 manufacturing sites across Italy, UK, France and Belgium, and a customer base of 4,500 clients served across 100 countries worldwide.

Nactarome has grown its revenues in excess of €135m from the initial 30€m, when it was acquired by Ambienta and thanks to several acquisitions in IT, UK, FR and D.

FIAS is a high-quality producer of tailored and customized flavours with a relevant expertise  in vanilla based flavours; over the years FIAS diversified its production serving several sectors of the food industry.

The acquisition of FIAS consolidates Nactarome’s leadership in the Italian market in the ice cream and confectionery sector, strengthens the brand and the positioning of the group in Germany thanks to the strategic presence of FIAS in this market and allows Nactarome to pursue its development strategy.

The Group is now formed by: Aromata Group which develops, produces and distributes flavours, aromatic extracts and colours; Nactis Flavors, a French company leader in the production of flavours, aromatic raw materials and functional ingredients; IPAM, a Parma-based company specializing in the production of breadcrumbs for fillings and coatings, Create Flavors, based in the United Kingdom, a leader in the production of high quality natural flavors for the sweet, savory and beverage markets.
