Cavour advised the shareholders of Bergamini1960 in the sale of the majority of shares to BMB Manifattura Borse

Bergamini1960 is a contracting company specializing in manufacturing small leather goods for leading Italian and foreign brands, with headquarters in San Lazzaro di Savena (Bologna) and its production site in Tunis.

BMB Manifattura Borse is a Florentine leather goods company founded in 1968 and specialized in the production of bags for international luxury brands.

Thanks to the acquisition of 70% of Bergamini1960, BMB will extend its expertise to the small leather goods category and, through the Tunisian subsidiary Maromed 1992, will also enlarge its geographical perimeter, with a  4000 square meters production base in Tunisia.

The operation was partly financed with the issue of a bond underwritten by SICI Sgr, a Tuscan private capital company.

Cavour Corporate Finance advised the shareholders of Bergamini1960 in the transaction as financial advisor. The deal was managed by Cavour partner, Barbara Grieco.
