Antonio Zecchino is the new President of IMAP EMEA COUNCIL
During the IMAP Meeting in Paris, Antonio Zecchino, who is already IMAP Board Member, has been appointed President of the EMEA COUNCIL, the regional council that represents IMAP members in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The EMEA Council defines the strategic lines of the network development in the represented areas, suggests initiatives to improve members activities, supports the cooperation and interaction between members of the region, consults the Board of Directors on various matters.
EMEA comprehends 20 members coming from: Nordic Region (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland), Great Britain and Ireland, Benelux, German speaking countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Mediterranean area (Spain, France, Italy), Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, Turkey).
The EMEA Council is formed by 5 members: Antonio Zecchino, President (IT), Jan-Olof Svensson (SW), George Oniunas (HR), Elske Rook (DE), Constantine Biller (UK).
IMAP EMEA counts 20 members on a total of 40 members and closed about 70% of IMAP deals in 2009.
