Bolton Group, through its controlled company Bolton Manitoba, has acquired the Sipuro brand from the Swiss company Triglan
Bolton Group produces and markets a wide range of consumer products leaders in their respective segments.
The Bolton portfolio boasts prestigious brands, including over 50 product lines in Food (Riomare, Saupiquet, Simmenthal …), Adhesives (UHU, Bison, Bostik IT …), Home Care, Personal Care and Body Wellness (Neutro Roberts, Collistar, Somatoline, Chilly, Borotalco, Bilba …) and Cosmetics, distributed in supermarkets, perfumeries, pharmacies and DIY stores.
Bolton Group is present in over 100 countries with 15 plants and over 10.000 employees.Turnover 2019 will be around €3bn.
Bolton Manitoba is the Italian division focused on Home and Laundry care; it distributes renowned brands as Omino Bianco, WCNet, SMAC, Merito, Vetril and others.
Triglan AG is a Swiss company that produces home cleaners and owns some historical brands: Sipuro, a brand born in 1951, today includes a range of high quality detergents for kitchen, bathroom, oven, chromed steel, glass ceramic, other metals.
As part of a strategic process of geographical expansion, Bolton Manitoba Group has appointed Cavour to search for medium-small size targets in some European countries, particularly Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia.
The research focused on leading brands in their respective segments and, in Switzerland, some brands were analyzed and evaluated; finally Sipuro was acquired from Triglan.
Cavour’s mandate continues above all in the search for targets in Germany and Poland. The project is managed by partners Barbara Grieco and Antonio Zecchino.
