Cavour advised 21 Investimenti in the negotiations with Viabizzuno
The private equity firm 21 Investimenti, established by Alessandro Benetton and controlled by his family, acquired a majority interest in Viabizzuno, Italian company located in Bologna and specialized in the engineering, production and sale of high-tech lighting fixtures.
Viabizzuno was founded in 1994 by Mario Nanni, electrician, born in Bizzuno, in the Emilia-Romagna region. Mario Nanni, during the last 15 years, led the Company through a growth path by developing innovative and avant-garde luxury lighting solutions and involving the most important international lighting engineers.
Viabizzuno has become a leading player in the lighting market in Italy and abroad, present in 50 countries, with a 2010 turnover of over 40 million Euro.
With the support of 21 Investimenti, Viabizzuno will reinforce its positioning and expand its coverage, exploiting new emerging markets, increasing brand visibility, opening new showrooms and branded shops.
Mario Nanni will focus on the art direction, 21 Investimenti will manage sales, logistics and industrial functions.
