Elettric80, based in Viano, Reggio Emilia, deliver integrated automation solutions – Freeway\u00ae Systems, with focus on the high volume consumer goods market.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Freeway\u00ae Systems are game changing automation solutions, which enhance the production and distribution of goods that we use in our everyday lives.<\/p>\n

The Company design and build the Robotic Palletizer cells, Laser Guided Vehicles (LGVs), Stretch-wrappers (Silkworm) and High density storage systems (Smart-Store) that make up the Freeway\u00ae Systems.<\/p>\n

In 2015 turnover was 120 million Euro.<\/p>\n

For a period Cavour advised the Company in a negotiation with a leading industrial group in order to define a strategic long term alliance with a gradual entry in the company and to get the majority in 5-6 years.<\/p>\n

This negotiation was abandoned for a change of strategy by the potential investor.<\/p>\n

Therefore, one of the minority shareholders decided to sell his stake and appointed Cavour to
\nsearch potential financial investors interested to entry in the Company\u2019s shares.<\/p>\n

Several PEGs have been approached and there were some preliminary offers but, in the meantime, the other shareholders decided to acquire the shares of the selling partner.<\/p>\n

Banca Popolare dell\u2019Emilia Romagna has financed the acquisition.<\/p>\n

The deal has been closed in December 2015.<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”3327″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]Per alcuni mesi Cavour ha assistito la societ\u00e0 in una negoziazione con un primario gruppo industriale per la definizione di una alleanza strategica di lungo periodo con un ingresso progressivo nel capitale sociale fino ad arrivare alla maggioranza nel giro di 5-6 anni.<\/p>\n

La lunga trattativa non \u00e8 andata a buon fine per un cambio di strategia da parte del potenziale investitore.
\nUno dei soci di minoranza, a quel punto, ha deciso di vendere la propria quota ed ha incaricato Cavour di ricercare potenziali investitori finanziari interessati all\u2019ingresso nel capitale azionario.
\nCi sono stati contatti con alcuni Private Equity, che hanno portato alla definizioni di alcune offerte preliminari, ma nel frattempo, gli altri due soci hanno preso la decisione di acquisire la quota del socio uscente.
